Jean Silva spewed enormous trash talk from the moment his fight versus Bryce Mitchell was made.

On Saturday on the main card of UFC 314 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Silva not only outclassed Mitchell, he looked very much like a potential champion. Mitchell excelled in all aspects of the game and put Mitchell to sleep with a Ninja choke at 3:52 of the second round.

Silva dropped Mitchell with a left hook and a straight right hand, and immediately dove in for the choke that ended the fight. Silva called out Mitchell, who made pro-Hitler comments on a podcast in January. After stopping Melsik Baghdasaryan on Feb. 22, he immediately said he wanted Mitchell.

Silva, of the fast-rising Fighting Nerds team, vowed to pummel Mitchell in every interview that he did. When the bell rang, he backed up his words with a near-perfect performance.

"I don't think he's right in the head," Silva said of Mitchell.

Mitchell is a superb grappler with elite submissions, and he dove repeatedly for takedowns. Silva shrugged them off and was comfortable in all areas.

He looked brilliant in racking up his 13th consecutive win and his fifth in a row by finish.
